Science & Popcorn

Who would ever have thought that Science and Popcorn could go together? Or they could be so much fun (at least eating the popcorn was fun). My Daughter had to do a science project for school so instead of the usual “potato makes electricity” we decided to do something more fun. How does temperature affect popcorn? We took 3 bags of microwave popcorn and froze one, refrigerated one, and left one out at room temperature for 24 hours. My cookies are gone…

Well, today I went to eat a couple of cookies that I made the other day and to my surprise they were almost all gone!!! Could it be that I have a mouse? Hmmm, it seems like I might have 2 mice namely my children :) I started out with 60 cookies and do admit I had a few, but this is all that is left… I guess it is time to make one more batch until next holiday season. Pumpkin Anyone?

Well I saw this cool Pumpkin cake on the front cover of this months Family Circle magazine. So I thought how hard could it be to make it? Well it is alot harder than I thought, plus it helps if you have the right Bundt pans (mine were too flat and wide).
